I’m sorry you feel that way. Faith does not mean “you just feel it.” Faith is hope in something that you are seeking and conviction in what you cannot see. I have faith in God and I have faith in heaven. If I die tomorrow, that’s where I’m going.

I dont believe in god but I’ll meet you there. RUB it in everyones faces wont you? Probably won’t see you there. Because you’re cruel, you “are sorry you feel that way”, “that’s where I’m going”…w/e man. Give it a break.

Watch the new movie of Nicolas Cage “KNOWING” It will make you open your eyes and get rid of the blindes that religion has put on us.

Have you examined these believes Casey? Have you subjected them to rigorous scrutiny that leaves you confident in the reasons you have to hold these beliefs? What are those reasons?

Because it makes you feel good to believe them? Because everyone else believes them? I don’t care what you reasons are, and I don’t even care if they are irrational, but at least have the courage in your convictions to be honest about what a faith based belief is and how it differs from a rational belief.

actually i read the review. it seems to have some biblical references. like the angel like people, or the ships that look like what i think is called Gideons wheel or something. (wheel inside the wheel) or even the world ending by fire. all of this is in revelations. but other than that, this discussion has ended so just please leave it alone

Actually I have. I have thought about them a lot. I believe that all these things are true, because I have seen God work in my life in extraordinary ways. He saved my sister my drugs and alcohol and has helped me survive middle school and is giving me courage to do great things. Believing these things doesn’t guarantee that I always feel good and I don’t base my faith in how I feel because my emotions lie to me. My faith is based on God alone.

I wasn’t trying to rub it in anyone’s face. Honestly, man. I don’t think I’m perfect. Deep down we’re all horrible people. The only reason I get to go to heaven at all is because my Savior took all my sin from me when he sacrificed himself and rose again 3 days later. Heaven is a gift and no one has a right to go there except by God’s grace.

The robotic components that people have been bringing up are common in microorganisms because they are essentially machinery. Their levels of life are far simpler than that of species which have evolved further and gained emergent properties.

meh.. debatable, what its doing here is infecting a bacteria, could be a nasty one or could be a friendly bacteria, but its a bacteria, take from it what you will

That was very unassuring! Lol.. How can something that’s bad…, infect another thing that’s bad?

Because bacteria are cells, just like the ones that we have, viruses are a LOT smaller, they don’t discriminate between bacterial cells and our own cells, a cell is a cell as far as they’re concerned

    Dearest Casey5693,
Please keep believing in what GOD HAS shown YOU. It is a gift, a very precious one, not everyone can understand unless THEY are shown it. You do not have to defend it so. God knows who will come and who will go…..it is a CHOICE, remember this, and someday in their hearts they will know too, and no longer have to search so hard for their answers they seek so hard for in only science….Peace and Love, to all who choose it !

religion is another method of control…like reality tv and oprah winfrey……true knowledge is found by those seeking it…hence why I think science will discover the origin of god before religion will:)

You’re right about the seeking knowledge thing. Those who seek God will find Him.

Listen devilman666, I know these things are true. Maybe I’m not sure how old the Earth is, but I know that Adam and Eve both messed up and now sin is in the world. I can’t change the way you feel about God, but why don’t you try seeking Him for yourself. You said yourself that true knowledge is found by those seeking it.

If the devil is greater than nothing and nothing is greater than god does that mean the devil is greater than god???
