Hey Justin,
It’s Sjors from the Netherlands. Thank you very much for the instructional video’s. I use them a lot in my study and even my girlfriend started playing along with your video’s.
But in this song I noticed a minor difference between the real thing and your version. Isn’t it better (nicer sound) to use a A major bar-chord instead of the open A-chord? Later on, I even have my doubts about the open C-chord; shouldn’t this also be a bar-chord?
What are your thoughts on this?
Im working on ur tutorial on “wish you were here” by Pink Floyd. got most of it so far, just need to polish up things here and there. ill definitely have to check out more songs, and this one too once im pretty comfortable with what im practising now. Thank uJustin! and btw, u’ve got a great smile
thank u justin… excellent lesson… Am Able to play the song now…and has anyone told you that you look a bit like London Donovan the American Footballer (soccer )… lol , thanks a ton anyway
This is an easy play version – on the record they are not using simple chords, there are power chords and little triads played with lots of effects – if you like the sound of the barre chords play it with them! J
Thanks mate. I was able to post my own version with your help! Arguably the best Bm blues solo in history.
