WARNING: This lesson will be a lot more helpful if you have gotten barre chords down and know the fingerboard chart. A quick lesson for beginners on Power Chords, Add2 chords, and Sus chords. Jamming tracks are included for you to try out these chords and play a tune. First is the power chord test to help you get your chords down. Then it gives you a rhythm track to play along with to help you with your Extension chords. The teacher is Nick Nolan. Check out the Ultimate Beginner’s Series DVD’s….

zomg IBANEZ FTW!!
This cant be for beginners at all. I saw his fingers this shit is hard.
FTW=fuck the woman
Ya know guys… beginners go from just picking up the guitar to playing for a few years or so. Beginner doesn’t mean that you go buy a guitar from the shop today and play this straight away. He doesn’t claim that you will do that.
This is a great video from a great teacher. As a player of 7 years I know a good lesson when i hear it.
This is more for players who have the basic chords, fingers and strumming rhythms down… but they are still beginners!!!
Yea u are right
Thanks.
I love his lesson on the Rock Licks! When ever you find yourself in the middle of a solo and fancy something interesting, I can always pull one of those classics out of the bag!
hey ur so cool!!
I’ve really learned a lot on your video…
tnx a lot!
i hope u’ll make a new video fo me..

miko from philippines
this guy is a great teacher..
what kinda of guitar does he use?
There are many levels of beginner guitar players. 3-5 years easily
This guy is a very good guitarist. Power chords are pretty simple when compared to the sustainable notes, opens, and pull offs you probably wanna learn. You can impress easily with power chords, but don’t forget the palm muting.
Does that song exist?
fantastic informative video’s thanks mate

This is so very cool. I didn’t know the power g cord. You always smile and look very happy while teaching. You make me smile and I’m having a hell of time learning and having a way too much fun. to ibanez930,
Just to let you know, your home page (or whatever it’s called when I click your name) has lots of red text that is completely unreadable on my Mac with Safari.
Does anyone know the model of his guitar? The brand?
