Digital Photography Lesson – Compositing 4 of 4

I caught this show on my television and absolutely love it. I wish it was on more often. I tivo-ed it and figured I’d share it with others. If you want to learn more about taking great photography, this is the show. This one is about compositing.

Note: this works in Photoshop, GIMP etc…

Tip: by using the two icons in the bottom of the “tool panel” in PS (looking as the mask-icon in the layer palette: rectangle with a circle) you can easier see what parts the mask effects (Red-shaded is visible [If I remember correct]). To do the same in GIMP is harder, but you can right-click on the layer and then select “Show Layer Mask”..

Guess most of you already know this, but this is for you who doesn’t.. :? )

    Have fun and don’t panic!
