I noticed for me the transition from finger strumming to using a pick was a matter of forcing myself to use the pick, It took a little while to get good at it, but it did help my overall playing.

    damn that was good !!!

    learned a cool strumming pattern!
i knew the embellishments beforehand but it was inspiring to see him add the same ones as I did to my chord progression

I noticed there’s a pause with the first down. Wouldn’t it be better to label it as

    d-d-u-u-u-d-u-d-u-d?

    I’m just saying.

splitting it up into three parts helped me alot., also i like how you play it and give me a chance to play along for a minute or two that helps. Some say or do a lesson with only 10 seconds or so to play along THANKS TO EVERY ONE AT NEXTLEVELGUITAR!!!!!

that sounds kinda kumbayah-ish, but there is a place for it…. the trick is not to over use it
he is trying to show an example so he is
embellishing every chord, but i think you’d only hear that around the campfire!
