this is awesome, sweet job!
Thanks guys!
Big console but Nice.
wow thats a really good idea. Good job bactera!
will you make me one of those?! please
hey you should sell your inventions to a game company or something. you could make money thats enough to last you a life time without you working at all or even more than that.
so your saying this thing can play nintendo 64, gamecube, and playstation, pure genious!
Sure, and others too. In saying that, I am currently making small vacuum formed casing to fit various systems. Will post videos on YouTube over the next weeks! ;o)
Add me to your subscribers list – in the next weeks you will see a georgeous system I am making at the moment, and you can buy a kit form to help you make your own…
I’m reading the info you posted on your website (THANKS A LOT for that! it is amazingly well detailed!) and i’m about to try making a portable n64.
i got a used n64 for the project. it works fine, but the mobo model is NUS-CPU-04. Do you think that it will work? i don’t know the differences between these models, but the one you used has certainly another number. And you know tons more of this than i do
thanks a lot for your answer!
It will work fine. The issues with the serial number is if it can be RGB modded (if NTSC or Australian PAL) if UK PAL it can only be composite.
My next project will be to use my existing case (on my PlayStation 1 project) to house an N64; with complete step-by-step guide, and kits I will sell. Suggest you wait for that (in next months), then you can have an awesome looking system!!
2 pieces of ribbon? FTL
All I have to say is AWESOME, kinda big but since it supports more then one system it’s great. Good Job.
The price is?
And cant you make a sort of CONSOLE?
And the you can just plugin controllers
Lika a nin64 that can just have any game?
That be realy awsome
And i think the people will agree!
so cool
the system abit looks weird and the use of it may be akward, but it would be great to have a porteble multi platform.
looks great but why move the buttons around? the a and b should be to the left of the snes buttons so it’s the same location.
Wow a n64 like that would be great, how about a dreamcast after?
Color is really oddly chosen, I am going to making portable system too, =P.
I quite like the modular approach you’ve devised for this project, well done. How long did it take you to build it? Can you use headphones with the system? Are the Rumble Pak and Controller Pak inside the N64 module? Does the Playstation module also have the Dual Shock rumble feature and a memory card?
Lachlant1984 – Took a few months to build. Yes, can use headphones. The N64 has built-in rumble pack and memory card, yes. Didn’t make PSone module – made separate system for that.
firestormcomputers – Good, make your own system, it’s fun!
I’m remaking this entirely into a version 2 multi-platform system, starting with my TurboGrafx project, my current project. New multi-system will be half size, lighter, sleeker, vacuum formed, etc, etc. Will take about 3-4 months to finish.
can i buy one, if yes then how much
your a very creative person somebody needs to give u an award bravo
Thanks for your praise!
when your ready, you should add wii support to it, like tht guy who turned his wii into a laptop
that would be awesome… i guess
