Studying bacteria has lead to the relatively new science of genetic engineering.

“plasmids” in bioshock are way off from what they are in real life
the game was still good though

holy shit samnabag, you are so stupid.

    can it really be possible???

whoa six months ago i made that comment but of course i was joking. im all for genetic engineering but im skeptical about GMOs(food). I really can’t wait for the day that we will be able to choose our kids’ traits.

This how biologists genetically modify DNA. There are several ways to modify DNA using plasmids as in the movie above aslo using viruses and gene guns.

it will be possible if people keep researching. now they can choose traits for the animals. so why cant they do for human.

MIT’s- stiffness from polyelectrolytes like Velcro in high pH; increase adhesion. it bonds with it’s pili wall to be bacteria-resisting film.

The drafter of the Declaration of Independence which we honor this 4th of July wrote: “The day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus…will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerva in the brain of Jupiter.”

Just imagine… sheep growing wool 20 times faster than their normal rate, cows producing milk faster, harvesting energy from photosynthisis, harnessing the power of spider silk, growing corn or wheat plants that are immune to locust, disease, weather, and can be grwon any time of the year, and still be faster, human enhancement, perhaps we could even breed creatures that could aide us in terraforming other planets? We are playing god now, let us flourish and prosper!

hmm… couldn’t you inject some improved plasmids into the human body, echancing one of our own cells.. and that way make something close to supersoldiers?..
Increased stamina and strength? Increase the synapses efficiency?

There is that many bugs, but you can’t tell where they come from unless a full search is carried out. The chances of bacteria escaping from a lab is likely.

A few years ago, two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to ask if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids’ room, the father said,”Take the kids and get out of the house. We’ll call the police, we don’t have a clown statue.” The “clown statue” is really a killer that escaped from jail. If you don’t post this letter on to 10 videos tonight, the clown will be in your bed at 3:00 am with a chainsaw in his hand(SORRY BOUT SPAM THIS REALLY FREAKS ME)

of course. the problem is it could only be done when the human is a 1 or 2 celled organism in the womb. not only that, but you need to actually find or design the improved plasmids in the first place.

thats called steroids, what germans used second world war to make supersoldiers that were healed wounds faster not so tired they could just go for ever. and it worked.
increasing stamina and strenght is no problem we already got IGF-LR3 makes us evolve everything in our bodies it gives u bigger and stronger skeleton, more muscle cells etc etc. but to figure out something that makes us SUPER smart and born with claws and venom plus super strenght thats something else :p

the thing is that human cells arent composed of plasmids… so there is no easy cut and insert!

    Certain Alien groups are master-geneticists
and they have given much of their technology to government scientists,
alot of the “cutting edge” comes from that source.

You are already overwhelmed. It is not your DNA that we need. That is the ruse. Read between the LINES humans.
